This year Scotland’s Ski and Snowboard Show is over the moon to announce Chamonix Mont-Blanc as the headline sponsor for the event . For those of you who don’t know let us give you the run down on what makes Chamonix a must visit location for all snow sport enthusiasts!

• History and Location
Widely regarded as one of the premier destination for Alpine adventurers from across the globe, Chamonix secured its reputation as the mecca of snowsports when this beautiful mountain town played host to the very first winter Olympics in 1924. Since then Chamonix has been pushing the limits in what is possible in Alpine exploration.
